  GULAYAN SA PAARALAN  In the context of schools, particularly in the Philippines, GPP stands for  Gulayan sa Paaralan Program .  It's an initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) to promote food security and address malnutrition among students.  The program encourages schools to establish and maintain vegetable gardens, providing a source of fresh produce for school feeding programs and educating students about nutrition and agriculture.

Brief Description Nipa palm tree is locally known on its productivity in terms of sap due to its abundance growing along river banks and swampy areas. The Nipa Sap was scientifically discovered by indigenous people as a material to produce by making it a laksoy native wine. Unlike to other similar Palm trees such as coconut tree and palm oil tree they produce less sap and cannot processed into wine. The fruit of the Nipa palm tree is the one being taking cared. They are harvested depending upon the maturity of its bough and fruits. To obtain a greater yield of the desire sap grade. The cutting of the fruits to produce nipa sap it involves a rather unusual kicking and beating process . The idea is to lossen the fibers inside and to produce more sap.
